PlainlyHQ (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides plain-English AI guides, templates and related resources. You can contact us at hello@plainlyhq.co.uk.
2. Our products
Our products are digital items, mainly downloadable PDF guides and templates, and, where offered, online sessions. Product descriptions and prices are shown on the website. We try to keep these accurate, but we may correct genuine errors and change prices before you buy.
3. Placing an order and payment
When you buy a product, your order is processed through our checkout provider (MailerLite, or Payhip for some products). Payment is taken at the time of purchase, and a contract between us is formed once your order is confirmed. Card payments are handled securely by the checkout provider; we never see or store your full card details.
4. Delivery and access
Digital products are delivered electronically, usually by a download link or email immediately after purchase. Please make sure your email address is correct at checkout. If you haven’t received your product, check your spam folder and then email us and we’ll sort it out.
5. Licence and acceptable use
When you buy a product, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive licence to use it for your own business or personal use. You may not resell, redistribute, share publicly, or pass off our materials as your own. We keep all intellectual property rights in our products.
6. Refunds and your cancellation rights
Because our products are digital and available straight away, the position is as follows:
- By buying and downloading or accessing a product immediately, you agree to receive it right away and you acknowledge that this means you lose the 14-day “right to cancel” that normally applies to online purchases of digital content (under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013).
- This does not affect your legal rights if a product is faulty, not as described, or doesn’t work as it should. If something’s wrong with what you’ve bought, email us at hello@plainlyhq.co.uk and we’ll put it right, which may include a replacement or a refund.
- We also want you to be happy with what you buy. If you have a genuine problem, get in touch and we’ll always try to be fair.
7. Our guides are information, not professional advice
Our products are designed to help you use AI tools effectively. They’re general information, not legal, financial or other professional advice, and AI tools change quickly. You’re responsible for how you use our materials and any AI tools, and for checking that what you do suits your own circumstances.
8. Our responsibility to you
We take care to provide useful, accurate products, but we don’t promise that a product will achieve any particular result for you. To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for any loss that wasn’t a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so (for example, for fraud), and none of this affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
9. The website
We aim to keep the site available and accurate, but we may change, suspend or withdraw parts of it. We’re not responsible for the content of any third-party websites we link to.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published here, with the “last updated” date shown above.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the courts of England and Wales.
