This page explains what cookies are, which ones plainlyhq.co.uk uses, and how you can control them. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. They’re widely used to make websites work, to remember your choices, and to understand how a site is being used. Some are essential; others are optional.
2. The cookies we use
We keep cookies to a minimum. We do not use advertising cookies, and we don’t currently use analytics cookies to track your behaviour across the site. The cookies and similar technologies you may encounter are:
| Source | Purpose | Type |
|---|---|---|
| MailerLite | Makes our signup form and checkout work, and helps prevent spam and duplicate submissions | Functional |
| Payhip | Supports product checkout pages when you buy through Payhip | Functional |
| Cloudflare | Helps keep the site secure and running, for example by telling genuine visitors apart from malicious traffic | Essential |
When you submit the signup form or open a checkout page, that provider’s own cookies and privacy terms also apply.
3. Google Fonts
We use Google Fonts to display the site’s typefaces. This doesn’t set cookies, but your browser does request the fonts from Google, which means your IP address is shared with Google for that purpose.
4. Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and set your browser to block them, usually from its “Privacy” or “Settings” menu. Blocking some cookies may stop parts of the site, such as the signup form, from working properly. A helpful guide for all common browsers is available at aboutcookies.org.
5. Changes to this policy
If we add cookies in future (for example, website analytics), we’ll update this page first and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent.
